Lean Bean Coffee has 2 locations in Coeur d’Alene. There is more than just coffee. For the past decade, Lean Bean has been serving coffee, breakfast, tea, fruit smoothies, and delicious lunch. The company is growing steadily and is looking to expand. Lean Bean hired Tran Creative to create a new visual identity.

Through visual audits and research, we’ve found many existing coffee logos in circular shapes, cups, mugs, and coffee beans. After research, we’ve created over 100 logo variations. The chosen new logo captures the “L” & “b”. It is full of life, movement, and expression. The rising aroma adds flavor and tastiness to the brand.

Orange is for energy & passion. Hot pink is for fun & quirkiness. Blue is for balance & freshness. Brown preserves Lean Bean’s root – coffee.

Crandall Law Group

Tran Creative was hired to develop a corporate identity for Crandall Law Group, based in Hayden, Idaho. Crandall Law Group specializes in estate planning, asset protection, business & succession planning and more…

Research shows that many attorney logos often have the scales, the mallets and/or building columns. After over 100 logo concepts, the final chosen logo unifies two Cs, weaving together to form a multi-dimension “C” for Crandall. The connection of the two Cs represents the father and son team of attorneys, Jeff Crandall and Ryan Crandall. It also conveys working with clients side by side, in balance, with respect and fairness. It is a symbol of commitment, professionalism, success, and team work.

Color Orange represents passion, innovation and progressiveness. Slate Gray establishes trust, experience and stability.

The new logo is applied on all new marketing collaterals.

TAIGA Land Company

TAIGA Land Co. is a group of highly experienced professionals with proficiency in all major areas of real estate investments and development. TAIGA hired Tran Creative to provide branding services including the development of a new logo.

After much research and over 100 logo variations, the final chosen logo consists of 2 shapes organized to form a “T” for TAIGA in the negative space. The logo is also inspired by planning – plat map; looking down at a plan from high above provides a broader perspective. The logo is contain within a square to convey exactness and precision. Round corners communicate friendliness and approachability.

Color Green stands for land. Blue is for experience, trust and stability. Together, the blue and green also capture the Pacific Northwest.

The new logo is applied onto all future marketing collateral and a responsive web site set to launch first quarter of 2015.

Doug Marks Law

Tran Creative was hired to provide branding services for Doug Marks Law, a law group based in Sandpoint, Idaho with nation wide clients.

Research shows that many attorney logos often have the scales, the mallets and/or building columns. After many logo ideas, the final chosen logo captures letters D, M, A. Weaving lines work together to create a balanced symmetry mark, which conveys team work, justice and fairness, without having to show the expected and overdone design elements.

Color gray represents experience. Teal blue makes it corporate, yet, approachable and signifies peace of mind. The new logo is applied on all new marketing collaterals, including a new & responsive web site scheduled to launch early 2015.

OAC | Orthopaedic Associates of Coeur d’Alene hired Tran Creative to provide branding services (Logo, Stationery, Print Collateral, and Web Site). Below is the story of OAC.

THE BACKGROUND:

OAC | Orthopaedic Associates of Coeur d’Alene is a group of surgeons and healthcare professionals who thrive in serving patients by providing advanced & effective orthopaedic treatments. Located in Coeur d’Alene, OAC has been serving its patients since 1975.

Research showed that most orthopaedic logos often conveyed images of bones and joints. We wanted to move away from the obvious and pursue a more creative approach that would showcase OAC’s main objective – providing exceptional care and helping patients get back on track through treatments & recovery.

THE EXECUTION:

After many logo variations and research, a new visual identity was born for OAC. We crafted a representation of “stepping over the hurdle on your way to recovery”. We showed this concept by using a stylization of letters O.A.C. into a simple and clean visual.

Carefully selected colors convey positive feelings of healing and recovery. The green has a strong emotional correspondence with safety and wellness. The blue represents knowledge, because of OAC’s advanced training in sports medicine, joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery. Yellow provides a feeling of hope.

Since 1998, Sole Solutions located by Spokane Valley Mall in Washington, has been offering wide selections of shoes, expertise and knowledge in foot conditions, diabetic shoes, etc. Sole Solutions hired Tran Creative to refresh their Visual Branding: logo, print materials and web site.

After much research and nearly 100 different logo ideas, the NEW LOGO captures the S, legs, feet, movement, flexibility and shoe traction. Gray = experienced shoe experts. Green = fresh ideas, creative thinking, innovation.

HERN Recycling Foundry has been in business since 1971. With facilities located on 32 Acres of land in Coeur d’Alene, HERN is well-known as experts in iron foundry, metal recycling, cannon design & production, and all things metal… HERN hired Tran Creative to help tell their story through Visual Branding, from logo design to responsive e-commerce web development and marketing.

After much research and over 100 logo concepts, the final logo captures the legacy of 2 generations in 2 simple shapes to form letter H within a family crest. The new logo mark also conveys heavy duty tools, equipments, materials without being too specific. We want the brand to have flexibility and not get boxed in so it can grow, evolve, and encompass other lines of service in the future.

Orange/Yellow is for heat to mold metal, innovation, ideas, and passion. Gray is for metal, stability and experience.
